Must Have Stretchy String
Stretchy String

Stretchy String – for the securest of ponytails!

Rubberbands – these are a little bit sturdier than just the clear elastics and I use them often for bungees in between 2 bobby pins

Silicone Sleeves – A must have for traveling with hot tools! Set them on the table top to protect while you’re working, slide them in the sleeve when you’re done. They’ll protect everything else in your kit from their heat and they’ll protect the tools themselves while they’re jostling around in your kit. Keep your expensive tools protected!

Must Have Kit Essential
Silicone Sleeve

Meta Grip U pins – These versatile pins are super useful for holding hair in place while you’re mapping out your style – before bobby pinning. They are also what I use for securing face framing pieces away from the face so they can be out of the way for makeup without leaving a dent like clips can!

Meta Grip U Pins

Combs – YS Park Carbon 111 tail comb – The best for backcombing to get a tight tease, close to the scalp. Carbon Fork Comb – Great for cleaning after teasing and detailing after using wax sprays or wet hair sprays. Wide Tooth Carbon Comb – I love these for combing through curls or sections before styling. It leaves a looser texture similar to running your fingers through hair. Also – always choose CARBON when possible. They won’t melt on your hot tools and they don’t cause static – plastic causes static!

Lala’s Crimper – I switched from the Sam Villa Texture Iron recently and have NOT looked back! This one covers more area, taking less time for prep, and I love the silicone outer and the soft texture it provides! This link gives you 10% OFF!

Makiaj Creator Bundle

Makiaj Creator Pro Bundle – I was so excited when this launched! I was a little self conscious to be hauling in separate lights and tripods when I first started filming so having this all in one piece – with a high quality light!! I’ve been loving it!

My kit is made up of a 26” Hard Sided Roller Suitcase and a Backpack! The back pack has a strap on the back that loops around the handle of the suitcase so I can roll it and then they separate when I have to go up stairs. Splitting up the load half on my back makes stairs SO much easier – IYKYK! I keep my tools and pin case, etc in my case and products, combs and clips in my backpack – so they all stay upright and are very easily accessible after i zip up my case and tuck it away (or use the case as a table!). The one I have isn’t available any longer but there are so many options – some even have drink holders – just make sure it has that back strap!

I’ll keep adding as I have time but hopefully some of this is as helpful to you as it is to me!
